1. Who we are

bondgo is a family-connection app built to help busy families spend more meaningful time together. For privacy questions, you can reach us at hello@bondgoapp.com. We act as the data controller for the information you provide directly to us through the bondgo website and waitlist.

2. What data we collect

Today, bondgo only collects the information you voluntarily provide when joining the waitlist:

• Your first name (optional)
• Your email address
• How you joined, such as "landing_page"
• Your waitlist status, such as "joined_waitlist"

We do not use cookies or analytics trackers on this page, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13.

3. How we use your data

We use your email address and name to:

• Confirm your waitlist signup
• Send occasional launch updates and early-access information
• Respond to your questions or feedback

Our legal basis for this processing is your consent, which you give when you submit the waitlist form. You can withdraw that consent at any time by unsubscribing or contacting us.

4. How we store and protect your data

Your data is stored in our secured backend database, with access limited to the bondgo team and protected by row-level access controls and strong authentication. We use encryption in transit (TLS) and apply reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect your information from unauthorised access or disclosure.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We only share it with the service providers needed to run bondgo, such as our cloud hosting and email-delivery partners. These providers act as processors and are contractually bound to use your data only for the services they provide to us.

6. International transfers

Some of our infrastructure providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, to protect your data.

7. How long we keep your data

We keep waitlist data until you ask us to delete it, or until it is no longer needed for the purpose you provided it for. If bondgo does not launch, or if you withdraw your consent, we will delete your information promptly.

• The right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")

9. Cookies and tracking

The current bondgo landing page does not use advertising or analytics cookies. We only use the essential technical cookies needed to keep the site secure and functioning. If we add analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.

10. Children's privacy

bondgo is designed for families, but the waitlist and landing page are intended for parents and adult users. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as bondgo grows. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of the page. We encourage you to review the policy periodically.
